Step 1: Please go to Appearance >> Menus

Step 2: Near the top right corner you'll find a button called "Screen Options" - click it

Step 3: In the area that's opened, make sure "CSS Classes" is checked

Step 4: Edit your home menu item: In the field called CSS Classes (optional) enter home

Step 5: Click "Save menu"
