The new awesome VamTam feature - VamTam Icons, allows you to add easily new icons to the existing gallery with bundled icons and to use them in a variety of different elements with the VamTam Drag & Drop editor.
Please follow the steps below:
Preparing the font:
Step 1:
The first step is to prepare a font using the IcoMoon App. Please go to this address: https://icomoon.io/app/
Step 2:
Next click on the Import Icons button (1) in the top left corner or click on the existing icons (2), or click on the burger menu icon (3) to open the Icon Gallery (4), in order to make your own selection (5)
(1) Please note that if you import your own icons they should be SVG images, SVG fonts ot JSONs exported by IcoMoon!
Step 3:
The IcoMoon App has two export formats: SVG+PNG and Font. You need to use the "Generate Font" button, not the "Generate SVG, PNG, PDF"
Step 4:
You can edit the single icon's name in Preferences:

At the end please click on the Download button and save the .zip file on your computer.

Adding the font to the VamTam Icons manager:
Step 1:
You can find the Icon Font Manager in Dashboard > VamTam > Icons
Step 2:
Please go to VamTam > Icons on the left. First, upload the ZIP you've downloaded from the IcoMoon App in Step 4 (see the instruction above)
Step 3:
Once you've done that, click "Process" in "Step 2" (this may take some time if you have a lot of icons). When the icons are processed, you will see their names under "Done". . Everything else is automatic. The icons will have a "custom" prefix .

Step 4:
After you've gone through these steps, your new icons can be used just like the ones which come bundled with the theme. You will have three sets of icons:
- no prefix
- prefixed with theme-
- prefixed with custom- (these are what you've uploaded)
Please note that you may need to clear your browser's cache.
Please note that you can have imported only one custom-icons set. So, every time when you'd like to upload new icons, make sure that you've added the previous to the set.
